Mackey Massingale made three huge saves for Arcadia in its 2-1 victory at Liberty High School.

In the 15th minute, the sophomore goal keeper leapt to tip a terrific shot over the crossbar, keeping the score 0-0.

In the 65th, Mackey preserved a 1-1 tie by sprinting to smother a dangerous ball at the 16 yard-line, just ahead of an onrushing Lions forward.

And with the Lady Titans clinging to a 2-1 lead with 4 minutes remaining, Mackey caught an extremely well-struck Liberty shot at the near post that would have forced overtime. The Arcadia goals came from Brooke Leber in the 18th minute, blocking the Liberty keeper's clearance ball and sending it ricocheting into the net, and Kalena Teufel in the 69th, taking a pass from Brooke just over half field, dribbling past a defender and scoring with her left foot. The Lady Titans improve to 9-2 in the regular season.
