Player of the Game vs. Shadow Ridge

Congratulations to #5 Kalena Teufel for being selected the Arcadia Girls Soccer Player of the Game.

Kalena Teufel tallied 3 goals and 2 assists in Arcadia's 5-2 victory over Shadow Ridge. Kalena, a junior forward who has led the Lady Titans in scoring all three of her years on the team, assisted senior Kate Murphy for the game's first goal in the 18th minute. She scored the next three goals herself: 28' from freshman Lauren Louer's throw-in, 30' from junior Clare Murphy's through ball, and 57' from senior Molly Vesling, pushing up from defense. With the score 4-2 at 61', Kalena crafted a lovely scoop pass over the defenders that sophomore Shelby Grady one-timed home to ice the game. Kalena, who committed to the University of San Francisco last spring, now has 13 goals in only in only 6 games this season, and is tied with Claire for the team lead with 6 assists.
